Good intentions are not governance.

So we have built the parts that make ours checkable.

The policy below sets the standard for every environmental claim we make. The register records the evidence behind each one, and who checked it. Our Progress Report shows how the portfolio is performing, including where we have further to go.

If a claim on this site cannot be evidenced, it should not be on this site. If you find one, please tell us.

Green Claims Policy

Our Green Claims Policy outlines the standards and procedures we follow to ensure all sustainability-related communications are accurate, fair, and legally compliant. It covers everything from editorial processes and training to the responsible use of imagery, colour, and AI.

OUR CLAIMS AND THE EVIDENCE BEHIND THEM

Every environmental claim we publish is recorded here on our claims register, with the evidence behind each one and the name of whoever checked it.

We are building this out claim by claim, starting with the figures that carry the most weight. The rest of our published claims are being added throughout 2026 each with the date it was last checked.

If the evidence stops supporting a claim, we will take the claim down.

PROGRESS REPORT

Our progress report sets out how the portfolio has performed since [2019/20], against the baseline we measure everything from. It covers operational carbon, energy, waste and social value, and it reports the targets we have missed alongside the ones we have met.

Figures are tracked annually under SECR and stated in absolute terms, so they can be compared year on year rather than reset when the boundary changes.

Building alower-carbon London.

At Lazari, we are building a world-class portfolio of commercial spaces that maximise the opportunity for our customers to create prosperity.

By repurposing our buildings to act as catalysts for growth, we contribute directly to the success of the businesses we serve – and, in turn, to the continued prosperity of London itself.

Our business was founded in 1976 by Christos Lazari, a fashion designer who brought his creativity and commercial insight into the property world. His principle was simple – unlock greater value by re-imagining how buildings can be used. That original vision continues to shape and evolve our model today.

As a family-run developer, we operate with a generational mindset. Our portfolio is guided by a holistic view of value creation, recognising that buildings can deliver lasting benefits when they interact positively with their surroundings. We design for wellbeing because healthier environments support higher productivity. We focus on urban connectivity because well-located buildings help businesses grow sustainably, with easy access to public transport and reduced reliance on private vehicles.

This approach allows us to reimagine our buildings as catalysts for impact – assets that unlock long-term prosperity for our customers, our future generations, the city we are proud to support, and the planet.
